John 3:16 " For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved.” Thank you God, for your love. Through Christ Jesus we are in the family of God. And Isaiah 53:5 applies to me and us “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.” I receive that we are healed spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, financially, and sexually. Disease in all its forms, symptoms, and sensations is rooted out not to return. Toxic behavior and relations we overcome, Grace, Grace. Zechariah 4:7. Amen.

To pray is an act of faith. Faith is an exercise of confidence in God’s word. According to God’s word, known as the Holy Scriptures, prayers according to God’s promises are always answered. 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the Glory of God by us.” Therefore, pray according to God’s promises.
Consider the following context of a child asking their parent for what they desire. With impatient expectation, the child waits to receive their request. At some point, through the waiting process, the child may even return to the parent and ask again. Possibly, in a later conversation, once again, the child may repeat the request and in exasperation add these words, “but you said” (?).
When the child says those words, it implicitly means the child holds the parent to their word. Those three words go right to the heart of the parent; and gets the parents’ immediate attention. In that same way, use God’s words from a scripture promise. Select a promise that speaks to your situation. Include that scripture promise in your prayer.
Luke 21:33 “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” God is not constrained by time. He is moved by our prayers. 2 Peter 3:8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
The evidence of answered prayer may take place as you speak. Matthew 14:36 “And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.”
The evidence of answered prayer may present itself within the hour of asking. Matthew 15:28 “Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.”
The evidence of answered prayer may be like planting a seed. You plant the seed and wait for its time to come to fruition. The growth process includes: time, then a blade peaks through the soil, then the ear (of the corn), after that the full fruit (corn). (Mark 4:28).
Like your experience as a child, there were times you asked your parents for something you wanted help with, or desired to obtain. You believed they could do what you asked. Even more importantly, you felt you should get your request because you are their child and they love you.
In fact, when the results were not as you requested, you continued your parent and child relationship. Regardless of the outcome, you were still considered the child of your parents, even into adulthood.
Over time you may have grown to appreciate and understand that whether the answer to your prayer was immediate or apparently delayed, it all worked to your best interest. Similarly, your Heavenly Father is the source for all good things, Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”
Keep your love relationship with your heavenly Father mutual; 1 John 4:19 “We love him, because he first loved us.”
